OK, does anyone have the *ultimate* EEt installation guide?
Download all the mods you want (in this case, the DLC Merger, EET, BG1 Unfinished Business, BG2 Unfinished Business, the Tweaks Anthology). I've provided links for each of them. 1. If there are multiple files, pick the .zip that matches your computer OS (most likely win64-bit). Extract any downloaded zip files.

You can indeed play BGT on the EEs. Note that it requires Siege of Dragonspear (though with the excellent EndlessBG1 you can skip it, if you choose).

EET https://github.com/Gibberlings3/EET/releases The install process can be complicated, but this fundamentally changes the game; transforms BG1+SOD+BG2 into one gigantic epic experience where all of your equipment carries over and you can revisit locations. Highly recommended. Hyped for bg3, thought I would try the first one. Any tips for an absolute noob? I've never played any game like bg1 besides fallout one and I didn't get very far. Any help is greatly appreciated!
there are some really good mods you can use https://github.com/EE-Mod-Setup/EE-Mod-Setup to set them up easier. you don't need them for a first run through or anything but some like the NPC banter packs might be nice to have

You don't need biffing for EE. You can use a mod manager https://github.com/EE-Mod-Setup/EE-Mod-Setup. It's EET for EE games, not BGT.

Some of these were fan requests, others are needed changes, and others simply make dealing with the more irritating aspects of the game engine easier. Each component can be installed separately so the player can pick and choose only which ones they wish to install.
