Need help, i broke my sorc
If you're playing LoD (original D2) you could install PlugY or this mod pack that I put together which includes PlugY, BaseMod, BH Loot Filter, ddraw (better lighting effects and shader support), SG2FreeRes (widescreen support), and other features such as allowing Teleport to be cast in town, a separate charm inventory, etc.

Is single player fully accessible offline?
I recommend this mod pack for Legacy D2 single player, and this mod for offline D2R.

Single vs. multiplayer
Mod support is much more limited in D2R. You can still use a mod like this, but you can't use a mod setup like this.

Replacing Patch_D2.mpq with this file should solve your problem.

Not D2R - Can lootfilter run full screen?
It definitely works fullscreen. I put together a mod pack that has a loot filter working with a widescreen mod.

Diablo 2 LOD Monterey with Porting Kit working
Hey. Just posting to say Diablo 2 LoD is 100% working in Monterey with Porting Kit by Paul the Tall. I searched for the base game then expansion in the Library tab, installing the base normally but the expansion by clicking on the "Install Patch/Mod" option. I was able to upgrade to 1.13c this way too. The resolution was able to be increased to 1440x900 with no black bars with D2DX.
