The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

CSKnow Bots v0.1 Release (And Request For Feedback!)
Add a +1 here https://github.com/David-Durst/csknow/issues/3. For my next release, I'll have a better setup for people that want to try it on their own. I'll update this github issue when that's ready, and you'll get a message.

A Python library to parse CSGO demo files
I disagree slightly. While I agree that Python is the language for doing data analysis, you will frequently do ETL in another language (SQL or Spark via its Scala or Python EDSLs are two examples). I treated the golang library as a stage in the ETL pipeline before switching to Python for the actual analysis.

Why Is A GOTV Demo More Accurate Than A POV Demo?
Thank you for your help! And a little background if helpful: In parallel with analyzing CSGO demos, I've also been working on analytics running live in an open-source engine from NVidia designed for measuring player reaction times: my few changes to their codebase, their paper. Using their engine rather than CSGO may be more accurate as I (1) in theory can grab the results directly from the GPU's pixel shader output rather than off screen and (2) am measuring the live gameplay rather than a replay from a demo. (Note: My changes to FPSci so far have focused on CPU analytics, but I could do GPU analytics since I have the source code). The downside of using FPSci is that the player behavior is not as rich. FPSci doesn't have a competitive meta. CSGO player demos are a rich source of information since there's so many hours of it and players have spent so much time understanding CSGO, there's a lot than can be learned only from their behavior.
What are some alternatives?
When comparing csknow and FPSci you can also consider the following projects:
