Or watch a few videos on YouTube, do your research to see what you want to do (what kind of software development) and then ask a more specific question here. Or go to https://www.python.org/ or similar site and start working on something. There is a lot of documentation out there and it's not the lack of resources that's the problem. I think you're a little confused and overwhelmed by the options which is normal. If you keep at it, it will pay off just like anything but don't expect too much from the field right away.

A different alternative would be to use Plex-Meta-Manager, this is probably more complicated but it would give you what you want and circumvent all of the problems I pointed out above because you are storing every change you want to make in a specific "recipe" file that you can run on your plex server.

Example, I found a (solved) help thread from 6 months ago on this subreddit which lists some trakt lists for Christmas, Thanksgiving and Halloween episodes. You would then use that list in PMM and let it create the collections for you.

With Plex-Meta-Manager you can completely automate this process in which PMM will use the 4K banners as an overlay and applies that to your existing poster and injects that into your library.

When you want to change more than just the images you might want to look into the Plex-Meta-Manager. I haven't used it for that purpose so you might need to try if that is what you are looking for (if you need it).

Second: Look into the Plex-Meta-Manager Project. I currently only have used it for automatically changing and modifying posters and haven't specifically looked into editing episodes or text metadata in general, maybe you can do that to automatically overwrite the metadata of those episodes.
