Might it be possible, just maybe, that the figures reported from other areas of the world are not quite accurate- either from lack of resources or willful manipulation of data? Last I checked the wastewater tracker in the Twin Cities, it was around the same amount (~54 million copies) as on April 7, 2022. By comparison, the lowest registered was on June 24, 2021 (~6.9 million copies).
