I made a Python tool to help prevent dangerous Craigslist encounters and find nice people
I am actually struggling with how to best distribute this! I don't like just dropping code and I'd like this to be accessible on iOS and Android. I attempted using Kivy but couldn't get the darn thing to run on my phone. I'll take a look into Greasemonkey and lambda. I'd like to figure out how to link up a microservice to my website.

Looking for input from this community on an app that helps with socializing
Last Saturday I was up at 1 am and decided to build a tool that suggests responses to messages from friends. I posted it on a few other subreddits and was told that I likely have autism. I've never been diagnosed but I realized that whether or not I'm autistic, this is a chance for me to contribute to a pursuit I believe in: helping to build community. I'm here asking for advice because I want to do this correctly.

Anyway, check it out and let me know what you think. If it makes you speak in memes I claim no liability. I have a lot of ideas for improvement but wanted to get this tool out into the world. Follow my repo for updates like sentiment analysis, hyperparameter tuning, and Bayesian response sentiment prediction (AKA what will they think if I say this?).

Mycroft AI companion
They recommend using https://github.com/microsoft/DialoGPT now, btw. That appears to be current and maintained, plus on a transformer (vs rnn only). Might be better long-term to migrate.

I learned about GPT-3 and its strength as a generative model but couldn't access it yet (can't afford the API). Thankfully I found a GPT-2 based pre-trained model DialoGPT that was trained on Reddit.

AIstiny: The ultimate debate bot. Phase 0: Viability and call to the community for help
The most readily available technology to create a chatbot of the type we want (due to the type of data we have) is GPT-2 based DialoGPT. There are many papers and examples, for example this. If you have never heard of GPT-2 before, maybe you have heard of AI Dungeon, although currently it is run on GPT-3, the initial versions were based on GPT-2
