Finally installed Mint on my desktop PC after having it on my laptop for over a year. Still have to figure out some problems with Steam, but I'm happy with the result.

How to have column view like macOS finder ?
This feature is rarely seen in Linux file managers. I would recommend the CLI file manager ranger. If you need a GUI tool, you should have a look at pantheon files, the file manager of ElementaryOS.
