CamillaDSP offers cross platform IIR and FIR filters, and can integrate with a GUI. It may take some time to set up though.

BlackHole2ch + CamillaDSP is VERY nerdy, but it's a fun option if you like FOSS and/or command line tools.

A more advanced option is CamillaDSP. It routes audio through a virtual device, so you can also map output as needed.

I'm running camilladsp on a Pi4 (see https://github.com/HEnquist/camilladsp and https://github.com/HEnquist/camilladsp-config). Configuration file is super flexible - the filters I'm using are biquad and IIR (https://github.com/hughpyle/raspot/blob/master/var\_cache\_raspotify/dsp.conf), but it also supports FIR filters and I expect should have enough CPU power for a few thousand taps.

Hi u/oratory1990! Could you please tell me how I should configure the shelf filters in CamillaDSP? It's using slope (dB/octave) values. There are also high pass and low pass filters in CamillaDSP.

I am using MoOde as streaming client which integrates CamillaDSP in its latest version 7.0.1.

https://github.com/goldfire/howler.js Howler is a nice high level wrapper for the web audio api. I’ve found it to work well for similar cases

Thanks. The spatial audio is just a feature of the excellent https://howlerjs.com/.

But I added MIDI keyboard support to the secret fart piano recently and thus Firefox throws up a scary warning. It's now disabled unless you access https://frt.rip#midi. But you can also use your computer keyboard to play/fart a little tune, see Web Inspector for instructions :)

When it comes to playing music in the Browser my go to library is https://howlerjs.com/. It uses Web Audio API and falls back to HTML5 Audio in older browsers.
