Lighting up the caves via ReShade
The only shader I'm using is eyeadaptation.fx, and with that you can actually have a strategy when playing (rather than just reflex reactions to jump scares).

Need TOS advice/opinions on a tool idea to make the in-game UI pseudo-customizable
I tried googling for a bit and found this: https://github.com/brussell1/Shaders/blob/master/Shaders/AreaCopy.fx
- Where can I get the .fx files, like fakehdr.fx? I have a game install from someone else, but when I install reshade to another game, most fx files are missing. Can I just copy and paste? (Even if they're from an older version?)
- Is there a way to find out where the reshade installer sources all the various shaders from? Can't use the installer under WINE so I need to get them manually

What does it take for ME to play PoE?
Trades Companion is very much like MercuryTrade in that they help automate aspects of trading. Mostly I like that I don't miss whispers if I'm AFK or zooming through maps. No need for these in a SSF league.

This already exists in Mercury Trade. It starts acting weird when you're trying to do anything with pixel perfect precision though. (https://github.com/Exslims/MercuryTrade)

Grasping vines disabling movement skills is such an asinine design decision
Use the "Capture" feature of Mercury Trade (https://github.com/Exslims/MercuryTrade) to "copy a part of your screen into another part.

Can the community please help me love this game?
Awakened PoE Trade (for smoother trading) & MercuryTrade [for visualisation of buffs (kind of like a very limited version of WeakAuras in WoW, if you are familiar with that)]

Why do people list up items for sale if they're not willing to bother with the trade afterwards?
That's why I use MecuryTrade. It's an overlay that keeps a pop-up on screen with the person who messaged you with buttons and such to quickly respond to people with replies you set up beforehand.

Is there any trick to finding the trials of ascendancy in maps?
To make the chat trick faster my suggestion is to use MercuryTrade.
