Better Wind Waker is the best in my opinion. It's an Improvement hack that makes the original game play more like the HD remaster. https://github.com/WideBoner/betterww

I'm trying to get WW working in widescreen, so I used the patcher linked on the Better Wind Waker Github page (https://github.com/WideBoner/betterww/releases/tag/1.5pre).

For anyone still unclear, this is the GameCube version of Windwaker being emulated through dolphin. If you have a PC that was built in the past 10 years or even a relatively newer laptop or Android phone you should be able to emulate Wind Waker with Dolphin just fine. This post is kinda confusing.. You should use https://github.com/Lumince/Dolphin-MMJR2 as your default Gamecube emulator, since its focus is on performance and its up to date. I only use this version and so far everything I've tried is playable. If you encounter a game that is not playable, use https://github.com/Bankaimaster999/Dolphin-MMJR

Dolphin MMJR works fine. The flashlight looks normal and it seems to run pretty well in the beginning. Dolphin MMJR

In this case it seems like an actual issue with this certain version of the app. Best you can do is post your issue there and hope it gets fixed
