Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.

I simplified my original explanation a little. I actually use an add-on ( Better Thermostat ) combined with a separate temp and humidity sensor. It’s not necessarily relevant to your question about controlling the home thermostat (nest) but worth knowing about if you go down the rabbit hole.

Has anyone with an Autel Maxicharger integrated with HomeAssistant?
It's possible with the HA OCPP integration but it's far from a finished solution. I had it working for awhile but it was unreliable at best and ultimately my EVSE was bricked due to an "OCPP issue", so I wouldn't recommend doing the same unless you have a far better understanding of these things than I do.
