😲 Twitter on Thursday announced it will now allow users to tip their favorite creators on the social network using bitcoin.
Yes, but sender is not required to use Strike. Also, it's Strike API, not Strike app, but API details are not public, likely you will be able to link your account with other wallets too. With LNURL it should be possible.

LN the next DeFi king?
I really like all the new things that keep popping up, like Lightning Address, and the lnurl protocol
-
The Lightning Network will make Bitcoin one of the most useable currencies for transactions. Change my mind.
The lnurl protocol makes things extremely smooth and nice. Also you can use Lightning wallets for authentication, and so many cool things keep popping up all the time, like Lightning Address so that you can setup a payment through lightning to any "internet static identifier" like an email, telegram username, whatever.

What are the smallest, easiest thing we can do to support Bitcoin and lightning?
This faucet uses one of the new protocols for lightning, lnurl, and it makes the transfer of Bitcoin with Lightning literally as easy as clicking a link.

RGB explanation on Bitcoin dev mailing list
Recently Maxim Orlovsky, the lead developer and architect of RGB wrote an RGB explanation letter to bitcoin dev mailing list, which led to a very productive discussion on the topics of what RGB is (spoiler - no, it's not a token protocol), how it works, what can be done with it. One of the core lines in the email was the v0.10 release that happened a week back and demonstrated how RGB works in the wild in the command line. Check GitHub and YouTube videos with RGB demo for more info. Maxim also dismissed many myths and misconceptions created over the past years by people outside of RGB dev team. 'What is RGB and why you should care' article
Documentation takes time. Also, we are now finishing the release v0.10 of our libraries (RGB Core library has already been released https://github.com/RGB-WG/rgb-core/releases/tag/v0.10.0-beta.2 which consists a lot of refactoring of the consensus-level code and introducing new things such as Interfaces, all of which made writing a classical documentation a bit useless in the past. With the version 0.10 all the materials will be updated and are being updated as we speak.
