What's a game that you've always wanted to play, but hasn't been created yet?
Otherwise there's Arx Fatalis which is pretty much a spiritual sequel to Ultima Underworld. The game is 21 years old, but with Arx Libertatis installed on top it still holds up really well.

How do I fix this? Every time I try to start the game, it stops at a white screen.
Are you using Arx Libertatis? If not, you should, because that will solve that.

Just a note: you can get Arx Fatalis for free by downloading the demo on Steam and installing [Arx Libertatis](https://arx-libertatis.org/], a cross-platform port of Arx. It will run natively on the Steam Deck without Proton and the restrictions in the demo will not be there.
