arch-install VS archinstall

My script asks for all the questions at the start (username, password, drives, and such) and then you can walk away and it'll be done. If you want, you can modify my own. I think it's not too hard to understand, and the readme explains how it works and what you should change, so you can give it a go: https://github.com/tralph3/arch-install

I also made an install script, although honestly, it's tailored for my personal use, but it is kinda flexible (not a lot mind you).

Archinstall (https://github.com/Torxed/archinstall) has been present in the official Arch package sources for some time. This should shorten the installation time. Just as a hint. :-)

However, the installation of vanilla Arch is basically not difficult either. And for some time now, archinstall has been included in the official package sources, which can simplify the installation.

That's for you to decide. Basically, the installation of Arch consists to a large extent only of executing the commands mentioned in the official instructions. In addition, Archinstall (https://github.com/Torxed/archinstall) has recently been added to the official package sources which makes installation simpler.

Seems like it is designed to do both equally well. Has a guided installer and functions as a python library for installing arch and whatnot programmatically. https://github.com/Torxed/archinstall

Just to inform, a fix has been merged: PR #84: reworked kde.py to use sddm instead of hacking xinitrc and will be in v2.1.1 this weekend :) Thanks for reporting and pointing this out!
