Let’s get started. I prefer to manage my Ruby installations on my development machine with chruby paired with ruby-install. Another outstanding set of tools is rbenv with ruby-build. I highly recommend installing Ruby with one of those two sets of tools. Follow the instructions on their project’s READMEs. For this article, I’ll be running Ruby (MRI) v3.3.0.
pi-apps setup and automatic Flatpak driver installation (with the proprietary Nvidia drivers forcibly packed into a Flatpak runtime by a buddy of mine for proper hardware acceleration) are also included in here
The purpose of a version manager is to help you navigate or install any tools for development easily. Version Manager can be one tool for each dependency (e.g. NVM, g) or One tool for all dependencies (e.g. asdf, mise).

I'm running arch linux with hyprland on an nvidia laptop(MSI Katana 17B12V) with this configuration: https://github.com/JaKooLit/Arch-Hyprland (I answered yes to all questions except the one with rog laptops) and I'm having some issues with closing the lid. When I close it, and open it back up again it doesn't wake up from sleep. Only when I then close it up to the point where the keyboard lights disapear (not fully closed) and then open it back up again it wakes up from sleep. What also works is if I suspend the laptop over the power menu and then close the lid. But even then, when I wake it back up by opening the lid again, the screen turns on, goes to black and then turns on again
If you are looking for an install script you should try archfi and optionally archdi
On that machine, install Cloak server software (they have this script to somewhat automate it if you chose ShadowSocks on the previous step, might be easier than doing it manually)
Project mention: How do you (yes, you specifically) work with appimages? | /r/linuxmint | 2023-11-04I recently discovered AM App Manager, it's app manager for appimages that have system integration and you can update all your apps with one command. Take a look at it's catalog to see if your app is supported.
