playbooks, having separate YMLs files or steps for different OS?
Have a look at this Apache role by Jeff Geerling (he's an awesome Ansible resource, btw) https://github.com/geerlingguy/ansible-role-apache Check out the tasks and vars folders and you can see that the main.yml will use the files it needs depending on which OS Ansible has found whilst running.

- Do I need to utilize the template module or can I solely rely on the copy module if the file I'm working with doesn't have any variables?
