T480S working well but no brightness control
Does brightness adjustment work from Control Panel? If so, YogaSMC may be of help. Is your battery charging/showing correft status?

Trackpad seems to not work perferctly on Tinkpad P14s Monterey
Currently I am fascinated with YogaSMC for Lenovo laptops. Although not all Lenovo can adjust the performance but you can adjust the speed of the Fan among other Functions, although I feel that it is far from reaching the Windows "Lenovo BatteryManager"

Had enough of Windows. Hackintoshed a T490 with Big Sur.
This basically gets you some OEM specific features for IdeaPads and ThinkPads. It has a charge limiter, fan control, power profiles, and tons more.

ThinkPad P50 Big Sur OpenCore
Thanks! The guide I made was for a 1080p screen device (with P530, not HD530) and sadly I didn't know people with 4K displays to work with for the guide. Indeed a lot of things are outdated in the guide but if you follow the Dortania guide then most of it is in there. I switched to BrightnessKeys kexts as soon as it hit stable and I forgot to put that in the guide, it works so well. Also checkout YogaSMC for fan control, battery limiter, hotkeys... I'll try to update the guide one day with your findings! Thanks again.

Trackpad seems to not work perferctly on Tinkpad P14s Monterey
Okay so I'm back with some good news: after trying your kext and exploring it in depth, I was able to read on a forum that the trackpad movements are controlled by keyboard shortcuts linked to the kext. (source) Having started this Hackintosh a little less than a year ago, I tried to put the kexts linked to the trackpad of this EFI into mine and I don't know why, but everything seems to work fine now :) Anyway, thanks for your help, I hope it will be useful to other people
What are some alternatives?
