It is simple, you need an adapter or you can make one(it is easy, just cut the breakway extension cable and strip the wires red, black, green and white then connect them to the wires of any usb cable you have in the same manner, this video will help you). But don't use the old XBCD driver, it is better to use this wonderful Github project.

I bought those controllers for 8 dollars each and they are in excellent condition, I tested them on my PC using an adapter that I made and this wonderful project GitHub - emoose/Xb2XInput: XB2X: User-mode Windows driver for Xbox OG controllers, supporting both XInput and DirectInput.

XBCD is shit. Xb2Xinput is where it's at. Even lets you set deadzones to stop old shitty sticks drifting.

After some digging around and searching for "how to use the xbox controller as a keyboard and mouse" instead of how to use the controller with mtgo, I found an app called Gopher360 (https://github.com/Tylemagne/Gopher360). It requires you to know the windows hexadecimal value for key presses, which you can set in the INI file for Gopher360. I hope some people find this useful, but I found a freeware utility called Gopher360. It allows any xbox360/one or Dual Sense(with InputMapper 1.5+) controller to be used as a mouse on a windows pc. This would allow someone to have a pc hooked up to a tv and not have to have a mousepad on the couch. It can be set to autostart when you start up the pc, and the mouse track speed can be adjusted on the fly. I have back problems, and sometimes I need to be able to lean back in my chair while I am on my computer and this way I can just grab my controller and not worry about the mouse.
