Is there a way to use Joy-Cons as a combined controller?
I tried with mine, but there's a very noticeable lag if you connect both joycons at the same time, this lag however is not present on this app called xjoy https://github.com/sam0x17/XJoy/releases/tag/v0.1.8, but only on version 0.1.8 and lower, the newest version available also has the same problem as the betterjoy app

Joy Cons as Xbox controllers on macOS?
It is quite cumbersome however to put the mappings in for each game, and I was wondering if anyone has made or come across something like XJoy, which makes Windows think a Joy Con is an Xbox controller. Since macOS has xbox controller (and DualShock 4/DualSense) support, I thought it perhaps could be possible.

Best Switch Controller
You can rig the JoyCons to work on the PC, but it's a PITA because they get recognized by windows as separate controllers. So you have to install a special driver to make them work together. I had a lot of trouble configuring the top Google result that everyone recommends because it relies on a second project that is very finicky in my experience. I thought I was out of luck until I found this: https://github.com/sam0x17/XJoy

Weekend mode with my WFH setup.
It needs an extra tweak. Here: https://github.com/sam0x17/XJoy This will make your joy-con to be an Xbox controller. It has a small bug, though.

Pro controller swap A and B buttons
I've tried Gamepad Mapper, JoyMapper Silicone, Enjoyable and a few others and can't seem to find basic controller button remapping (swap A/B for example). The above apps are working fine to remap controller buttons with keyboard/mouse buttons on the Mac but don't seem to have options for what I'm looking for.

PS3 Emulation on the M2 Air -- Works Great so far!
That sucks! Make sure it has input privileges in your security settings. Also, not sure it could work, but I used to use JoyMapperSilicon to emulate keyboard inputs from my joy cons, maybe something similar could work for your xbox controller? Best of luck!

Melty on MacOS
That's pretty much it. Download MBACC community edition and run it with Wine or Crossover. You'll need to download JoyMapperSilicon too.

Joy Cons as Xbox controllers on macOS?
I have been trying to get Nintendo Switch Joy Cons to work with macOS. I have used JoyMapperSilicon which seems to work well, at least in the 2D games (Hollow Knight) which I've tested it in.

Joycon help
I’m using a program called JoyMapperSilicon to map the buttons on each joycon to keyboard keys, which works to make the controller operate as a single unit. I am even able to configure the controller within OpenEmu using the joycons themselves to assign each value. However, when I go to play the actual game the buttons no longer work, though the keyboard itself still does.
