How do I open a .exe file using the WINE appimage?
Hey guys, I've downloaded an appimage for WINE from Github

Wine:i386 won't install
I had this same issue. I just use the wine app-image file via this url. Save my a lot of headache ;)

My collection of AppImage packages
there are several developers that have bundled wine as an AppImage, my favourite one is this , about GZDoom I've just downloaded the tar package and it seems to be an Electron based app, so it should not difficult to bundle it (see my Spotify for example), and supermariowar should be easier too.

WINE 7.0 Flatpak is (unofficially) now available on Flathub!
I know a better option, this guy https://github.com/mmtrt/WINE_AppImage has done a fantastic job in distributing AppImage version of Wine Stable, Staging and Devel.

I've been dying to play Ever17, and I'm also getting a Steam Deck soon. Anyone out there know if it's playable in some fashion on Steam Deck?
There's probably a way to get codec working but for now only ffdshow codec is available on Bottles (and that didn't work for this game) and it's too much of a hassle to do it with Wine Flatpak right now.

Aokana (JAST ver) on Steam Deck
Other than that, you could always make a .desktop file or manually write invoke Wine using the Flatpak version, as someone did manage to figure out how to work out using Steam ROM Manager with Flatpak version of emulators.
