[TUTORIAL] Converting a game-rip model to MMD [In-Depth, Part 1]
MMD_Tools plugin for Blender
- Struggling to convert .blend into .pmx

Any plugins for Sketchup that I can use to convert models to MMD?
Try exporting to a .dae file. I believe that is native to SketchUp. From there you can import it into Blender. Use Blender 2.9 and the latest MMD_Tools plugin. With those you can export it as a PMX file. Then in PMX editor you can do everything else you need.

I’ll tip 3 dollars whoever can figure this out
https://github.com/UuuNyaa/blender_mmd_tools is the newer version.

Someone suggested I make Adam do the Nine Lives Blade Works pose. After seeing what it looked like I immediately understood why and thought it'd be pretty cool.
How I imported them into Blender: Github

So I've been playing around with the official MMD models in Blender for the past few days (most of which involved incompetence inflicted by myself) and this is the first render I made with it. I'm not any good at Blender work to begin with, but I think I do a decent job more or less.
I was also able to import the PMX files into blender thanks to this blender addon from github, which is why the majority of my last few days with these models was pain. I didn't know this addon existed and I was doing so much extra work that was totally unnecessary.
-
would someone be willing to convert a pmx to a vrm for me?

Having (what appears to be) a common issue Regarding importing models into blender.
You can import .pmx files using the MMD Tools addon, at https://github.com/powroupi/blender_mmd_tools . It says to go to a different fork, but don't; that different fork is apparently a few versions behind.

Anyone know of any .stl files of ACs?
first you need models, like all these the problem with these models is that they arent compatible with blender, so your gonna need a way to import them into blender thankfully theres this addon for blender. after intstalling the addon into blender you should be able to import the model you download from bowlroll. now all you have to do is pose the model and export that bad boy as stl. (you might want to scale it down since all the acs are to scale)

Why is converting a Blender model to MMD so painful.
you sound like you need mmd tools

White Glint jumps (animation practice)
I found the model here, it was made for MMD but I converted it for Blender using this addon and I made the ground impact with the Cell Fracture addon + Rigid body simulation
-
so ive been dicking around with armored core models and i made this animation. this took way to long to make.
I got the model from an mmd model website called bowlroll https://bowlroll.net/file/56293 (there's a few AC models there) If you want to use the model in blender like I did, you need an addon from github https://github.com/powroupi/blender_mmd_tools

I've figured out how to remove the restrictions on moving the official MMD models' bones all over the place using Blender
In order to import an MDD model into Blender in the first place, you need to use an addon. I used this one: https://github.com/powroupi/blender_mmd_tools

Anyone know what's up with the file names with Haachama's official MMD model? They seem to be fucked up in some way, and they aren't being detected by Blender. Okayu's model seems to be working as intended, and the only weird file name in there is the base .pmx file. (They're the only ones I tested)

Has anyone had any luck converting the Korone and Miko MMD models into Maya rigs?
I don't really use Maya anymore but there's a plugin for Blender that properly converts MMD models including the materials & rig.
What are some alternatives?
