Use UWP HOOK to allow you to add windows store uwp games to steam as a non steam game.

It's usually difficult because Microsoft UWP DRM on them so you needing tools like UWPHook & other workarounds that have 50% success rate at most. There are rare Gamepass games that don't have UWP so it won't be a problem for them.

You could try using https://github.com/BrianLima/UWPHook this program and testing it. I really doubt it'll work, the VR tag is just a categorisation thing and so it shows up on the HMD page. It doesn't actually trigger any VR capabilities.

Microsoft : This is worst with all from above and you need https://github.com/BrianLima/UWPHook to be able to play against Microsoft DRM.

Another option that could potentially work is to use UWPHook to add your Xbox Game-Pass games to Steam and then simply use Steam Link to stream these games.

There's a nifty little utility called UWP Hook (https://github.com/BrianLima/UWPHook) that scans your Windows Apps and lets you pick them from a drop-down to add to Steam, but there have been a rare couple games that absolutely refuse to show up on the list so i made a bit of a convoluted extra step to gain access privileges to the gamepass install folder and add them from there when needed.

Try installing glossi on your host system and running it though that https://github.com/Alia5/GlosSI

If it’s a “non-steam” game, like Diablo IV, I use https://github.com/Alia5/GlosSI to act as the non-steam game for the launcher.

Download GlosSI installer from https://github.com/Alia5/GlosSI (when asked to during installation, install ViGEM driver as well)

Check out GloSI and it's Playnite extension, might be easier to assign input per game from Playnite

There are apps that act as middleware between Steam and these 3rd party launchers that can help. I use GlosSI.

You simply can't because there are no Drivers for it and Steam.exe is acting like the driver itself so that even projects like https://github.com/Alia5/GlosSI are piggybacking on Steam.exe's existence. You may try combining that GlosSI + SteamCMD (command line version) for a minimal impact on your system but you can't avoid installing Steam.

Now I assume you are running it through steam to make use of steam input. The workaround to run the launcher independently and still use steam input is to use glossi . Here’s a YouTube video on how to set it up: youtube .
