Still no love for WPA3 on the Raspberry Pi 5
Just a note that if you're _serious_ about WiFi on the Raspberry Pi... you should use an external WiFi adapter—either PCIe or USB.
With the Compute Module 4, I've successfully tested a variety of adapters [1], from WiFi 6E to older mini PCIe and M.2 cards. There's even a board made for the purpose of multi-WiFi testing, the Seaberry [2].
The Raspberry Pi 5 works with all the PCIe WiFi chips I've tested (haven't had time to summarize testing on pipci database site yet, including a mt7921u-based WiFi 6E USB adapter (haven't written that up, but check out [3]).

Looking for a specific WiFi adapter recommendation for PineTab2
Hey all, I've read the Github list of Linux WiFi adapters (https://github.com/morrownr/USB-WiFi/blob/main/home/The_Short_List.md) but I've seen sporadic comments of certain users saying some haven't worked for them. I'm a bit risk averse buying something most likely from the USA and waiting a while for it to get to Australia and it not work, so I was hoping some people could comment with their specific models that have worked for them.

Kde New update broke everything
I have been able to solve it, it was linked to the wifi antena's driver. It may not be the same situation as you, but just in case it may help: - I was using the rtl88x2bu-dkms-git driver (AUR package) - this driver seem to have issues after the latest kernel update (https://github.com/RinCat/RTL88x2BU-Linux-Driver/issues/219) - however, this driver was not needed anymore to make my antenna (TP-Link Archer T3U Plus) work, so as a workaround I just removed it. - I still encounter some issues (like may need to unplug/replug the antena at boot), but everything works again ^^

realtek usb wifi worked during Tumbleweed install. After reboot, lsmod shows it has rtw88_8822bu loaded, there is no /dev/ file for wifi, that disappeared, and the file under /sys/class/net/..../long-thingy-name doesn't have any match under /dev/ either. Firmware 20230427-1.1 is installed. Help.
I have similar issues and even the poweroff button is same. You are on the wrong place with this. I have found working rtl88x2bu here https://github.com/RinCat/RTL88x2BU-Linux-Driver and it works until 6.2 kernel. Maybe it will work with your device. I am too lazy to read all of this now.

How to check if I'm using the standard wi-fi driver intergrated in the recent 6.2 kernel release?
I've been using rincat wi-fi 88x2bu driver for my TP-Link Archer usb wi-fi card. I found out that the 6.2 core will have that driver be default. After I updated everything I unistalled the rincat driver and wi-fi still works, but I'm not sure that I unistalled it correctly. How can I check that my wi-fi runs on the default driver?

Is There A Cloud Storage Service for Linux That Doesn't Suck?
I'd genuinely just like to pay for something that offers decent performance, without waiting half an hour to download a couple of gigabytes of your files.. I'm running this driver for my Realtek Archer dongle.

No Wi-Fi on HP Probook 450 G9
The one from RinCat is the driver I use and it supports the latest kernels. I recommend compiling it with dkms, so you don't need to do it for every kernel update.
