[QUESTION] Haven't played in 13 years, are free guitar pro tabs not a thing anymore?
Hey I wrote this because of frustrations with UG: https://github.com/jabbey1/UGDownloader. I don't know if it would solve your problems specifically but it allows you to download all the user go tabs for an artist without going to the site yourself (after you have an account)

I wrote a little program to help with downloading guitar pro files from Ultimate Guitar, based on my frustrations with their "official" and "pro" versions. I'm sharing it here.
Anyways, here's the github link. To download the .exe, click the releases section on the right side, below the about section. Or, grab the python files and run them if you're so inclined. Please let me know what you think!

Exporting midi to Logic Pro x.
On a Mac you should be able to use PTE 2.0 (https://powertab.github.io/) to export to midi files, which could hopefully then be imported? There also a bulk converter that could be used to convert a bunch at once

Getting MIDI to work, *without* TiMidity, which breaks the audio across the whole OS
I've been trying to get PowerTab Editor ('PTE') working for a long time now. PTE is a program that plays back .ptb files, which contain MIDI audio data. PTE needs MIDI software installed to play back the MIDI audio (obviously).

Powertab is what I always used, very simple easy to use oldschool software, got updated to run on modern OS's. https://powertab.github.io/ is free.
