Is there a way to invert the brake.
You might need to use something like Universal Control Remapper to invert the axis on an OS level. I don't believe the game has a way to do so. If the driver software for that supports it, that's likely a better solution.

I-pac 2 issues
enableToggle disables temporarily the interception of keys, so that you can use your keyboard for maintenance for instance. That can explain the fact that keyboard2xinput seems unresponsive (its icon turns to red when the key are not intercepted)By default it's assigned to substract, which is the substract key on your numpad (see https://gitlab.com/SchwingSK/Keyboard2Xinput). This key must also be assigned on your ipac-2.You can modify your mapping.ini file to either map the enableToggle to another key or remove the line altogether if you don't need the feature.

Updating an old MAME cabinet
When hitting tab, you should be presented with an option for general input vs this machine only. General input should apply to every game. Could also get there from the main mame.exe screen. Any game specific configuration (cfg) will override your default controls, so if you have a bunch of different game cfg files that are wrong, you could delete them. Newer xarcade boards allow you to switch between keyboard mode, xinput joystick mode, or dinput keyboard mode. However, keyboard is preferable to me, as you never have to deal with joystick order changing in Windows, it just flat out works consistently every time. To play Steam games, like SFV or MK11, you can use this program to map keyboard keys to virtual Xbox controllers https://gitlab.com/SchwingSK/Keyboard2Xinput you can have Launchbox launch this when you launch a game that needs it to automate everything
