Galaticcraft has a Fabric 1.16 rewrite underway, and they plan to port it to Forge after the Fabric version is finished. https://github.com/TeamGalacticraft/Galacticraft

Is Galacticraft dead? Nope (now for MC 1.16+)
We've finished transferring the mod from the old Micdoodle's repo (the original dev) to the current, team-based one a few months ago and it's been rewritten from the ground up for MC 1.16.5 Fabric.

Minecraft forge 1.16.5 crash
Geckolib is incompatible with some other mod you have. It had the same incompatibility problem with Epic fight mod but that was fixed. See: https://github.com/bernie-g/geckolib/issues/187 Try removing mods until it starts to find out which mod is incompatible.

Living Animations with GeckoLib
I'm using GeckoLib and followed their [wiki guide](https://github.com/bernie-g/geckolib/wiki/Miscellaneous), but the living animations seem to overrule the custom animations. They work fine if I remove setLivingAnimations. Does this work, or if not, is there a workaround?
