Turning on fan to max with thinkfan seems to set computer to a "battery saver" type mode? How to max out processor while maxing out fan?
I had tried using tlp through tlpui, though I wasn't ever sure I was able to get it to work right, so I ignored it. I've gone back and disabled and saved it in that state for now.

Question About Power Options in Ubuntu 21.04 and new versions.
Anyway, now I don't have that power options although I can use [slimbook-battery](https://github.com/slimbook/slimbookbattery). I guess the app works but still if I can do the procedure without a third party app it would be better.
