TLD-Developer-Console VS MelonLoader

So I downloaded ML to be able to access the dev console for The Long Dark. I followed the instructions posted here, but when I try to load the game, I see the command prompt messages for ML and that is it...the game crashes. Am I missing something that I am just not seeing? (I have TLD on Epic Games, if that matters)

2) Download MELON LOADER 5.7: https://github.com/LavaGang/MelonLoader/releases/tag/v0.5.7 You wanna grab the first one, the .exe

1) Make sure you've got the most current version of Melonloader.

you're gonna need a few things to mod your game. First you'll need melon loader, an interface to your game to add those sweet mods to your game. Here's a link to get started. btw, be sure to select a version of 6.0 or better. https://github.com/LavaGang/MelonLoader/releases
