3D case switch compatibility
I will probably print this case: https://github.com/Bastardkb/TBK-Mini

Glow-in-the-darktyl
the case is open source, and you can download and print it. TBK-mini model from Bastardkb if you want to hand-wire, i can share the fusion 360 design for the micro carriage i designed. it didn't come out perfect. i could only get one of the two screws in :) but that ended up being fine. with the f360 you could tweak it, or just go with it.

Meanwhile I am considering ordering https://github.com/Bastardkb/TBK-Mini . I now that it is a 3d print but I thought that you should know about it.

Finally got my Datamancer Planck case
Same. I love the look of this keyboard. I just can't regress to non-ergo. Currently on Corne, looking at https://github.com/Bastardkb/TBK-Mini.

I call it ElectricMucus (subtle nod to my Futurama brethren) while wife calls it Hulk hands, what do you think?
The stls are available here https://github.com/Bastardkb/TBK-Mini

Quite a ways left on this journey... but my slightly altered Atreus 62 case arrived today...
It's based on a Arduino pro micro and uses QMK as it's firmware. I'm currently using a 42keymap because I would like to go smaller for my next build. This will be my next keyboard 42 keys split ergo

Just ordered mine...
I believe i'll agree with you when I become much smarter and wiser. for now ive found the ultimate answer: HID proxy. use a MitM device like an arduino to consume ts2/xr input and forward the exact or modified result to a usb connected recipient as a standard keyboard. this also enables to ts2/xr to be used in environments where bluetooth drivers arent even present. https://github.com/houkanshan/arduino-bt-hid-proxy above is a working example of this being done. im opting for the rpi2040 instead of the ATmega32U4 since the former has everything all in one, and I dont have my iron on this side of the planet. this should be a lot of fun.

Review of the Kinesis Advantage360 Professional
There are forum comments like "wait, what are you trying to do, bluetooth keyboards are only for mobile devices and Macs, aren't they?", like that's an acceptable thing. I'm not sure about Windows, but you can't even wake Linux from sleep with a bluetooth keyboard or mouse!
I did find this DIY solution while hunting for the apparently non-existent real one: https://github.com/houkanshan/arduino-bt-hid-proxy
