arduino-bt-hid-proxy
Bluetooth HID proxy is implemented using Arduino. Make a Bluetooth keyboard or mouse (WIP) work in BIOS or device without BT stack (e.g. TMK USB to USB Converter) (by houkanshan)

Just ordered mine...
I believe i'll agree with you when I become much smarter and wiser. for now ive found the ultimate answer: HID proxy. use a MitM device like an arduino to consume ts2/xr input and forward the exact or modified result to a usb connected recipient as a standard keyboard. this also enables to ts2/xr to be used in environments where bluetooth drivers arent even present. https://github.com/houkanshan/arduino-bt-hid-proxy above is a working example of this being done. im opting for the rpi2040 instead of the ATmega32U4 since the former has everything all in one, and I dont have my iron on this side of the planet. this should be a lot of fun.

Review of the Kinesis Advantage360 Professional
There are forum comments like "wait, what are you trying to do, bluetooth keyboards are only for mobile devices and Macs, aren't they?", like that's an acceptable thing. I'm not sure about Windows, but you can't even wake Linux from sleep with a bluetooth keyboard or mouse!
I did find this DIY solution while hunting for the apparently non-existent real one: https://github.com/houkanshan/arduino-bt-hid-proxy

Build compatibility help: The original Dactyl Lightcycle
I want to build the lightcycle (MX variant) (may make some adjustments e.g. making the outermost columns 1.25u like my Kinesis 360). Additionally, here is what I'm thinking:
- Tastatura za programiranje - 60%

3x6 dactyl manuform first build
Handwired, QMK on Raspberry Pi Pico, model from https://github.com/adereth/dactyl-keyboard with modified thumb cluster. 3d printed with wooden PLA, sanded and coated. Hackysacks as provisional wrist support 😉

How to add rotary encoders to the Left side of Dactyl using Teensy 2.0 and MCP23018?
I plan to use PIN GPB6 and GPB7 on The MCP23018 for the rotary encoder. I am using QMK Version 0.17.9 and followed the build of this QMK - GUIDE

Any choc scultped boards ?
Retail wise, the MoErgo Glove80 is a Dactyl like board with low profile switches.

Blue (Da Ba Dee)
It's a custom request, but is closest to the original dactyl key placement.
- Is there anyone able to locate the STLs for this dactyl build?

In progress hot-swap 7x5, thoughts for colour
Thanks, I take no credit for the design that's for sure, I think the original dactyl is here
- After over a year of fiddling about she is almost complete..
- Built this handwired redox some time ago. I cant live without it anymore. I love to use the space in the center
