printing hole
I Would look into using SuperSlicer, a fork of PrusaSlicer

I've installed klipper and that's my print. I think i need help.
I suggest you temporarily (at least) use some print settings that are already excellent, start of with these). You need to install the official release of Superslicer. Find instructions on how to import the config bundle here.

No one ever told my how hard it would be too remove support
Well, I doubt it's possible right now since the last release is already a few months old: Releases · supermerill/SuperSlicer (github.com)

Enable Experimental Features
There is a known issue where the config.ini contains the wrong version and Arachne is not visible. Check Issue 3094

Is it possible to hide or delete system presets?
I must have mis-remembered something, I thought there were a portable and installer version, however on the github download site the latest release, https://github.com/supermerill/SuperSlicer/releases/tag/2.4.58.5, only have one file for Windows which doesn't have an installer, this is the version i already use.

Best Linux Slicer software for Ender 3 S1 Pro (Ubuntu/Debian)
If you're a more advanced user then Super Slicer: https://github.com/supermerill/SuperSlicer/releases/tag/2.4.58.5

accidentally wiped my settings clean in Cura. I am wondering what your recommended settings are for large pieces with the .8 nozzle, for the Kobra Max with Volcano5. Is there a better slicer??
I'm not sure about specific settings, but I do have a slicer recommendation. SuperSlicer. It's a modified branch of PrusaSlicer that's basically just a better version of it

Sonic Pad vs Klipper on Raspberry pi (what’s is missing from sonic pad?)
Use a Pi if you can find one and do the same steps from above or use a pre-built image for the Pi like FluiddPI.
-
First print since installing Klipper
i used fluid 1.6 which can be found here https://github.com/fluidd-core/FluiddPI/releases
- New Ender 3 S1 Pro my initial thoughts after a couple of days with it.
- Need compiled firmware for my 300c slice eng thermistor+ extender 400XL printer.. can’t compile on my pc.

Real improvements going to Klipper?
I 'm a noobie to RPi so I installed FluiddPi image on an SD card using Rufus -- need to tinker with anything on the RPi directly -- runs fine so far.
-
I'm not sure what to do next. I have an error saying no moonraker connection
All else fails; start over by downloading the FluiddPi Raspberry Pi image zip file from here. FluiddPi v1.17.0
-
Itttsss aliiive!!! Again. Description in comment
Mainsail looks nicer though... the only reason I went Fluidd over Mainsail is because FluiddPi was an easy route to trying Klipper. It's a Pi image with Klipper, Moonraker, and Fluidd pre-installed
- Is a Rasberry Pi 4 (B) 2gb good enough to install and run kilpper on my Ender 5 Plus?

Rate my benchy (100mm/s speed, 2000mm/s^2 accel, 0.2mm layer height, Ender 3 v1)
Yes it would be the optimal way to setup Octoprint or finished Raspberry Images like FluiddPi or MainsailOS Octoprint is the „official“ base for Klipper though personally I never had a need for Octoprint Plug-ins and use FluiddPi since a year. Klipper has also its subreddit /r/Klippers

Octoprint using klipper for dummies
You need to get the latest fluiddPi. use this link https://github.com/cadriel/FluiddPI/releases/download/v1.16.2/fluiddpi-rpi-lite-v1.16.2.zip This will download the zip file that contains the Fluidd and Klipper software. Now follow the document and video to create a MicroSD card for the PI. The Pi is where Klipper/ fluidd runs. It does all of the work converting the Gcode and it then controls the printer board. Once you have the SD card created then you need to edit the fluiddpi-wpa-supplicant.txt file to enter your SSID and network password. This should get the Pi on your network. Re-read the instructions and see if this works.
What are some alternatives?
PrusaSlicer - G-code generator for 3D printers (RepRap, Makerbot, Ultimaker etc.)
mainsail - Mainsail is the popular web interface for managing and controlling 3D printers with Klipper.
ArcWelderPlugin - A plugin for OctoPrint used to convert G0/G1 commands to G2/G3 commands. Reduce the size of your gcode files, and reduce number of gcodes per second sent to your printer.
