Special_Configurations VS Marlin

Have a look at https://github.com/mriscoc/Ender3V2S1/wiki/How-to-update-the-display I had an Ender 3 V2 with a TJC display that needs a special compile to display the numbers. PID tuning - Using Pronterface and the M303 command, I get "PID Autotune failed! Bad Heater id". Searching on this one I found the man himself mention " using an MPC version of the firmware, so there is no PID for the extruder". The firmware I used is an MPC version - so I need to run the MPC autotune instead. I cant run it as I can't home the head.

-I am using the Touchscreen with the included cables. I have the singular pin with the touchscreen's 5 pin connection on the left if the drivers are at the top of the board. - The broad rate set to 115200 -I am using a CR touch with the 5 pin connector in the 5 pin CR touch thingy -I am using this firmware, " Ender3V2-SKRME3V3-BLTUBL-T13-LA-MPC-20230809.bin" on this page https://github.com/mriscoc/Special_Configurations/releases I have not edited it because I have no clue how to do that

I basically went through the Marlin config file for my printer line by line to change it how I like. You might also want to check out Professional firmware, he as many precompiled configs, and the source code. I think his has a 10 minute hotend timeout in it.

I used mriscoc T13 be sure to follow the directions.

I glued 2 5p DuPont connectors back to back and put a red wire for vcc, a black wire for ground, a yellow wire for tx, and a green wire for rx (the colors are irrelevant, just for making sure the correct pins are connected to the pi) according to this schem: https://github.com/Jyers/Marlin/discussions/814

As it is a Creality board then Jyers might be better or even Mriscoc as it is more up to date.

I switched to Klipper long time ago, but even back then Creality FW was trash and Jyers was fw to use, but it's outdated now. I think most people use the "Profesional" fw now. It should not be hard to find guide on YT.
