electric door strike
To make it homekit compatible you will need to update the standard firmware on the Sonoff. https://github.com/Gruppio/Sonoff-Homekit

Practical. Outdoor lighting for HomeKit - what do you do? UK.
Hi, I used some Sonoff basic flashed with the following firmware and some Led floodlights (I have them on all sides of the house): https://github.com/Gruppio/Sonoff-Homekit Iβve put the Sonoff in IP66 junction boxes next to the flood lights and I have no issues. I have two types of automations. The first one is based on PIR (hue and they work very well). The second one based on Apple car play so when my car gets close to the house and itβs night time it turns the flood lights on! In addition I also setup a Hue button to turn all the floodlights on for 5 minutes when pressed, itβs a two step automation but works like a charm if you need near daylight visibility all around the house.

Sonoff Basic R2
There is a firmware for Sonoff with native HomeKit. here

What Automation are you most Proud of ?
Then, I make a HomeKit automation that automatically (without any silly confirmation on my iPhone) switches my Home alert system status to Away when I am not at home (based on geofencing) and conversely, switched it to Disarmed when I come home. You would say: this is not possible, dumb Apple does not allow this with security devices. And you're right. That's why I circumvent this moron attitude by using a dummy switch in the middle. The geofencing Home automation controls the Switch On/Off status, and that virtual switch has its own automation that control the security system status. That way, it works! The HomeKit switch is in fact a cheap ESP8266 DIY board flashed with Home Accessory Architect (HAA) open-source firmware (esp-homekit-devices repo on GitHub). But such virtual switch can also be created with homebridge. Or you can use a true Homekit physical socket for example.

Any possibility to update this smart switch
But for homekit there seems to be this firmware: https://github.com/RavenSystem/esp-homekit-devices

Ceiling fan control (in-fan)
I've had great experiences with the Sonoff iFan04-L with the Home Accessory Architect firmware -- I don't know if having to flash new firmware is a complete deal-breaker for you, but that combination of hardware and software is fantastic in my experience. I've installed two iFan04-L units with that firmware and have a third that I intend to install soon (while replacing knob and tube wiring to that particular fan). Flashing the bootstrap firmware is straightforward and quick with a USB UART device, after which there's some setup to do (enter wifi password and configuration script), and once that's done it's more or less a native HomeKit device for all intents and purposes.
- Are there any HomeKit in-line smart switches like this? Native or via Homebridge.
- Can I have HomeBridge, Home Assistant & Plex/NAS on the same Raspberry Pi 4?
-
Any HomeKit accessories for this?
I replaced 2 of those with Sonoff switches that where flashed with raven to make them HomeKit compatible. https://github.com/RavenSystem/esp-homekit-devices

Need help to create JSON string, ESP8265 2 relays
Hello, I'm trying to build a smart socket with 2 channels (2 relays), I'm doing this with the help of a Wemos D1 Mini and the project https://github.com/RavenSystem/esp-homekit-devices

I built a HomeKit Temperature and Humidity sensor using ESP8266-01S and DHT20
I think you could achieve the same functionality with it without homebridge as a gateway: https://github.com/RavenSystem/esp-homekit-devices
