Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Can ML upscaling / DLSS be used to enhace shadow map quality?
If you think doing this https://github.com/SCRN-VRC/SimpNet-Deep-Learning-in-a-Shader/blob/master/Images/RenderTexture.png on all of the shadowmaps in a scene is faster than simply relying on tried-and-true hardware rasterization then you should work on more graphics/rendering projects to get a better grasp as to what is actually possible on hardware.

A remaster of David Lynch's 'Inland Empire' to hit theaters this April.
They're just taking the Blu-ray master, downscaling it back to SD resolution, piping that video into Topaz Labs' VEAI and using a Gaia model, and then re-encoding that. Probably not before throwing a bunch of grain on top, because VEAI isn't that good. For every bit of piece that looks nice, you're also met with a bunch of shimmer or other anomalies, removing any sort of consistent look from the image. The models are always being updated as well, so you might even be able to make a "better" remaster with a newer VEAI version (though I would recommend an FSRCNNX based upscaler, as it gives off a more natural appearance)

Upscaling footage
Have you tried using this script? https://github.com/Alexkral/AviSynthAiUpscale
- Buying a shield just for the upscaling? Any alternative with a computer?
- What's best program for upscaling hd to 4k on PC?
What are some alternatives?
YOLOv4-Tiny-in-UnityCG-HLSL - A modern object detector inside fragment shaders
Anime4KCPP - A high performance anime upscaler
CodeSearchNet - Datasets, tools, and benchmarks for representation learning of code.
video2x - A lossless video/GIF/image upscaler achieved with waifu2x, Anime4K, SRMD and RealSR. Started in Hack the Valley II, 2018.
ACNetGLSL - ACNet (Anime4KCPP Net) re-implemented in GLSL for real-time anime upscaling
AviSynthPlus - AviSynth with improvements
NCRFpp - NCRF++, a Neural Sequence Labeling Toolkit. Easy use to any sequence labeling tasks (e.g. NER, POS, Segmentation). It includes character LSTM/CNN, word LSTM/CNN and softmax/CRF components.
Anime4K - A High-Quality Real Time Upscaler for Anime Video
Language-Translation-with-Fragment-Shaders - EN to JP and JP to EN with transformer models
Magpie - A real-time upscaling software that can upscale any application or game window. Forked from Blinue/Magpie, with the intention of maintaining Visual Novel specific presets.
Waifu2x-Extension-GUI - Video, Image and GIF upscale/enlarge(Super-Resolution) and Video frame interpolation. Achieved with Waifu2x, Real-ESRGAN, Real-CUGAN, RTX Video Super Resolution VSR, SRMD, RealSR, Anime4K, RIFE, IFRNet, CAIN, DAIN, and ACNet.
DotCrawlPlusPlus - A modernization of DotCrawlPlus, an filter that emulates analog artifacts.
