  • Selling Remarkable with subscription
    2 projects | /r/RemarkableTablet | 17 Oct 2021
The Remarkable Tablet is a good device and they are offering the early folks such as myself the subscription for free. I can totally understand how people feel bait-and-switched though. I've met many people who do not want the cloud at all but the official software requires the cloud to work. Perhaps keep the device and use alternative software? Many are available and I've just tagged a first release on my own software (link: https://github.com/nicksen782/RemarkableViewer ) Remember what you bought the device for, which was likely to take notes on a somewhat open device. Your problem isn't with the device, it is with the new policy of the company.
