You are incorrect, the repository clearly contains symlinks to submodules including the ReVanced Manager: https://github.com/revanced/revanced-documentation/tree/main/repositories. The symlink points here https://github.com/revanced/revanced-manager/tree/docs/docs.

the official documentation is a rather good start, but kinda technical. also i'd recommend to just skip all the stuff related to adb and, in the command to actually do the patching, not use the "-d device-name \\" flag they add in the command

the other option, and definitely more complicated, is using the cli. i think i'll skip explaining this one, but if you're interested, the documentation has a pretty decent guide on using it

You could use third-party tools like revanced-builder and ReVancedPacker which do the job without any use of command line stuff.

There are some automatic compilers on GitHub, like https://github.com/xemulat/ReVancedPacker and there is another One but this Is more user-friendly

I could recommend ReVanced Packer, which download, run and build an APK for you from ReVanced sources, in a matter of minutes and with a few options for the APK build (works both for Windows and Linux)
