You are incorrect, the repository clearly contains symlinks to submodules including the ReVanced Manager: https://github.com/revanced/revanced-documentation/tree/main/repositories. The symlink points here https://github.com/revanced/revanced-manager/tree/docs/docs.

the official documentation is a rather good start, but kinda technical. also i'd recommend to just skip all the stuff related to adb and, in the command to actually do the patching, not use the "-d device-name \\" flag they add in the command

the other option, and definitely more complicated, is using the cli. i think i'll skip explaining this one, but if you're interested, the documentation has a pretty decent guide on using it

Another way to tank revenue could be using patched version of the official app to remove ads like Redited, we could go as far as vanced in its peak where people were just posting memes about it to spread it.

Never felt the need to use chat, so looked it up, and apparently Reddit didn't share the API for it to work the way it does in the official app. Also came across this: https://github.com/Blatzar/Redited. Basically, a modified official client with working chat, but without ads and telemetry. Maybe you'd be interested to check it out.

Try Redited app. Its a modified version of official reddit app which removes the ads, trackers and other unnecessary stuff, which makes it better tham the official app lol. And u get the chat feature too...
