Error with plotly() in R with large dataset
100m data points is going to be near impossible for plotly. Are you sure you can't summarize the data? Maybe bin then summarize? If you need them plotted, use scattermore.

RStudio keeps crashing 💣
If you're trying to plot 10k or more points, ggplot can get really slow (and memory heavy). Do you really need to plot that many points (could I just plot of sample of them, or averages, ...) ? If yes, take a look at scattermore.
