Which icon theme integrates most nicely into the current Xfce desktop?
I'm currently using Numix Circle Arc. Before that I used Qogir which is a bit more complete. There's no definitve answer to this of course, its whatever you like most. I prefer vivid, flat colour with fine details. I find Papirus a bit childish, everything looks a bit like a toy.

I've been using Qogir theme on Solus Budgie for a while. And i gotta say that I love Qogir than Solus OS's default theme - Plata Noir. Qogir works perfectly on Solus OS and it's not as dark as Plata Noir. I don't know why Qogir doesn't have a place in Solus offical repo. I hope it will

Help with gnome files/nautilus bookmarks spacing
Your other option is to find a theme that has a slimmer look, that way you don't have to change the font size or anything else and let the theme take care of the padding. This theme comes to mind, although I haven't personally used it in a while. There's also Linux Mint's official theme Mint-Y, it might be in Pop!_OS's repositories (sudo apt install mint-themes) but there was a recent update that made the themes look much better, I'm unsure if this new update is already in the repos.
