Presenting gptty v0.2.5 - Enhanced CLI Wrapper for ChatGPT with Context Preservation, Query Support & More!
Thanks! Based on your suggestion, I created an issue to test the UX using different terminal emulators (https://github.com/signebedi/gptty/issues/56).

How do I now access GPT-4? I click the link but it just takes me to the information page, I don’t have access to it on the API playground page.
I think there's an issue open for gptty to add an --additional_context tag, which should allow you to pass outside sources of context to your query. Not sure where it's at in the development process, but she's been pretty quick to post new features (so it might be worth upvoting the issue, or adding a comment): https://github.com/signebedi/gptty/issues/37.

Introducing gptty v0.2.1 - A Powerful CLI Wrapper for ChatGPT with Context Preservation & Query Support, Now on PyPI!
One obvious solution, for long conversations, is to gradually forget older questions and answers as you approach the token limit. Whereas, for the normal Completion queries where you send everything as a single, you can use keyword tokenization.

Check out `gptty`: a CLI wrapper for ChatGPT written in Python
I created a CLI wrapper for ChatGPT called gptty because I was dissatisfied with the categorization tools available in the ChatGPT web UI. It can be installed on Github https://github.com/signebedi/gptty. I've added preliminary user docs on installation, configuration, and usage. I'd love feedback on (and contributions to) the code base.
