Move over, Pi Pico. Pine64's Ox64 SBC, a tiny RISC-V board capable of running Linux, is now listed on their site, and should be available tomorrow.
I'm excited to try these things for 3D printing - sure some might say "Octoprint couldn't run on that! It can't even handle the the Pi Zero!" And they'd be right, except if say someone just happened to be rewriting Octoprint in Rust for this exact reason.

Linus Torvalds: Shared libraries are not a good thing in general.
It's a fairly simple check atm. Here's what it looks like in my code: https://github.com/tegapp/teg/blob/develop/crates/server/src/server_query.rs#L21

Using a Mac without a network connection
> From the words of Linus himself
Since you don’t cite the source, I will assume that you’re referring to the Subsurface documentation (https://subsurface.github.io/download/). Linus himself, however, did not write it: https://github.com/subsurface/subsurface.github.io/commit/91...

Wife material
He's actually very pragmatic & uses C++ too when he likes the framework using C++ better. https://github.com/subsurface/subsurface

“Rust is safe” is not some kind of absolute guarantee of code safety
That didn't stop him from making a pet project in C++: https://subsurface-divelog.org/ I'd say that if he seriously didn't like it, he'd have used C or something else.
