PlexAutoSkip VS scriptsharp

If you don't have a Plex Pass, you could look into PlexAutoSkip's option to add your own custom markers. This won't show a 'skip' button, but will automatically skip that portion. The downside is that the script only works for local playback, and on clients that can "advertise as player"

There are ways to control playback of devices within the same local network using the Plex API (things like Plex Auto Skip use this), but it's not something built in to Plex.

I love the new Plex skip credits feature. This feature + PlexAutoSkip is a killer combo. But, sometimes the tool Plex uses to discover the credits, and sometimes the intro is off. How do you edit the markers for Intro and Credit sections?

PlexAutoSkip works very well.

It's not possible to auto-skip, though there have been signs that it's being worked on (a short-lived Android setting that seems to have been pulled: https://i.imgur.com/nIEubTs.png. That doesn't mean it will ever see the light of day though. The best you can do right now is to use Plex Auto Skip, though it has some limitations due to how Plex's playback controls work (has to be local, and the client has to advertise that it can be controlled by an external device).

Yeah, it would be nice to have both in a single package, but the only conversion I know is C# to JS with the decade-old Script#, and I'd be amazed if it worked with any modern C# project. It's probably easier to just add it separately, though maybe there will be bits and pieces that can be helpful if you do look to add manual editing functionality.
