I use PlayCover and the game runs perfectly. The only "sketchy" part of the process is getting a hold of the IPA, I just used the site they suggested in the documentation.

you should use https://github.com/PlayCover/PlayCover in order to install the .IPA file of the zepp but the Bluetooth connection it's very unstable or doesn't work at all.

Using a package manager that can be installed on most distro is one way to help you get to work faster. Flatpak is one of them; other alternative are Snap, Nix or Homebrew.
