Is it wrong or illegal or whatever I call it to make A LOT of requests to a specific website?
That said, it's worth noting that there's already some tools available that can download Pixiv images in bulk. I personally use PixivUtil2 to do it, and I know gallery-dl supports it as well. Both take Pixiv's rate limits into account when downloading images so you should have no problems with them at all.

I downloaded all of them via this program. Nandaka (the pixiv guy) also has nijie downloader if you want it but I've never gotten it to work.

I need a bit of help
just use PixivUtil2 instead. The configuration might be a pain in the arse (especially to a n00bie) but if you persevere you'll save a lot of time. I'm a heavy user so usually, I'll just run a few instances of it over the night and when it's done it's done. I do not see a need to struggle with the web app.

can also just download every image post on this sub (like I did) through a tool like RipMe, though I'm not sure if there is a filter for NSFW, haven't used it in a while.

PSA: Imgur is going to start deleting old images, you should start archiving old posts now
This sub is too large for my method but I used ripme and then used an iOS shortcut that takes links of posts and saves photos of webpages and stored them in a folder.

gallery-dl - Tool to download entire image galleries (and lists of galleries) from dozens of different sites. (Very relevant now due to Imgur purging its galleries, best download your favs before it's too late)
RipMe - For those who already have this, maybe it still works for imgur but it hasn't received frequent updates for a while now so a number of sites don't work.

About Bulk Image Downloader
You can use wfdownloader which is free and extremely powerful as it can handle not just images but videos too. Another good one is ripme but it hasn't been updated in a while so some sites may have stopped working.
