This is the GitHub home of Race Into Space, the computer version of the Liftoff! board game by Fritz Bronner. It was developed by Strategic Visions and published by Interplay as a disk-based game in 1993 and a CD-ROM in 1994. The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Simulate your own spacecraft with Asynchronix, an async discrete-event simulator
If you are looking for an example with similar complexity and real-time constraints as a cubesat, you could do worse than look at what the PWSat folks did (GitHub link). It's not introductory material, but I have been impressed to see such level of rigor being applied for cubesat development and validation.

A quick discussion about Java MOO, Wargaming, Steam, and monetization
Thanks for this writeup! It was fun reading a history of this project. I didn't realize you'd put your own money into it - I had assumed your translations and illos were volunteers, like the people involved in our Race Into Space project where "Buzz Aldrin's Race Into Space" has been ported to modern OSs and improved. I suppose I should have guessed by the scope of this project that it would require more than volunteer efforts.
