Who uses UDP these days? You can configure router port forwarding for TCP ports easy! Use UPnP protocol. I had to do it for my OutNet project: https://github.com/rand3289/OutNet

If you go to https://github.com/qTox/qTox You will see the following: "Due to a lack of resources, qTox is no longer maintained. If someone with provable C++ experience and sufficient resources to maintain qTox wants to take over I'm happy to discuss that." So is someone going to "take over"? I really like qTox & would hate to see it go.

Qtox(p2p messaging?) failed: You can send files, but it looks like you can only open folders to look for files to send, not send folders themselves.

Tox (anonymous too, if routed through Tor) [clients like qTox might not be the "sexiest", but they are small and can be used almost anywhere]

Qtox does all that, even if screen sharing was a bit obscure years ago. Qtox won't work on iOS but there is an Android release. Big advantages: no server required, easy to use, secure, open source.
