  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • syncthing-android

    Wrapper of syncthing for Android.

  • SyncThing (open-source syncing basically?) didn't work: I got an error on the computer that was to receive the files. I've never gotten before. "Failed to start SyncThing". It's in the pictures. I tried to follow what it said, but got the error again. I deleted the folder I'd made for receiving the files and completely reinstalled SyncThing. The error persists!

  • rustdesk

An open-source remote desktop, and alternative to TeamViewer.

  • -Rustdesk (open source remote desktop software?) file sharing didn't work: β€œAn existing connection was forcibly closed.” I had both computers on Power Toys Awake and set to never sleep...

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

  • qTox

Discontinued qTox is a chat, voice, video, and file transfer IM client using the encrypted peer-to-peer Tox protocol.

  • Qtox(p2p messaging?) failed: You can send files, but it looks like you can only open folders to look for files to send, not send folders themselves.

  • OnionShare

Securely and anonymously share files, host websites, and chat with friends using the Tor network

  • OnionShare (anon unlimited file sharing?) didn't work: It oscillated between 0 and 1% compression completed. It never explicitly gave up, tho, lol

  • jami-cli

    Jami client for terminal

  • Jami failed: Same as above.

  • instant.io

πŸš€ Streaming file transfer over WebTorrent (torrents on the web)

  • Instant.io (it's torrenting sort of?) didn't work: It froze and never "uploaded" anything

  • wget-windows

Discontinued Windows binary of GNU Wget

  • If both machines are on your private network you could just use the python simple http server and wget.

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
