Discord stutters on Wayland but the problem goes away if I have OBS open? (or gifs or videos are playing in chat) [NVIDIA]
OpenAsar might fix this
-
What are some annoyances in Archlinux that's bothered you from time to time?
Currently I use webcord but I used to use OpenAsar, which has an option to ignore an update when it is available. You can use an alpm hook to automate the process.
-
Does anyone know a way of disabling this 'starting' popup that appears when I launch the discord app on PC? I would rather wait for the app to open than see this message every time.
yep, theres this thing called openasar that can disable it :3

Chromebook struggling to run discord
Discord on Linux (which Chromebooks effectively run) is gobeshite, utter trash. Try using it in the browser and if that doesn’t work try https://openasar.dev or https://armcord.xyz

Webcord vs Browser + uBlock
Have a look at open asar https://github.com/GooseMod/OpenAsar

Discord's "lucky" day hits Arch BTW once again with no update in the repository
OpenAsar fixes this iirc
-
BetterDiscord Lag
If you only want to use a theme then you can also use https://openasar.dev/ With this you can add a CSS code for the theme you would like to have and it runs on the normal Discord client.
-
Is there a way to improve the performance of BetterDiscord? Cuz it's laggy even if I have 3 plugins running
Not really it’s kinda like a rewrite of some of discords source code, it explains it better on the website https://openasar.dev

Discord collects AND keeps a dangerous amount of data
if you really rely on discord you could use something like this as a bandaid to remove some telemetry. mainly for crashes and error. also gives some nice little extra features. https://github.com/GooseMod/OpenAsar

Cicada – A FOSS, Cross-Platform Version of GitHub Actions and Gitlab CI
I'm going to plug https://onedev.io/ its awesome. Its self hosted and has its own tooling for CI/CD. I feel it doesn't get enough love, but I've been using it for years for my own stuff.

- Ask HN: Gitlab or Gitea for self-hosting Git?

My Ten-Year DevOps Product Welcomed Its First Commercial Customer
I started to develop OneDev (https://onedev.io) since 2013 as an open source project in my spare time. To sustain long-term development of the project, an enterprise edition was released last month, and today it welcomed the first commercial customer. Not a very successful project from monetization point of view, but I enjoyed all the trips developing and maintaining it.

What self-hosted Git server ?
An option I don't see often brought up but I use it myself and love it is https://github.com/theonedev/onedev. It has its own CICD implementation along with a visual interface to configure the tasks. The developers are very responsive when issues are reported, and it has a very good code search engine with symbol recognition.

Self-hosted Alternatived to ClickUp?
