Psu control using octoprint on a laptop
Replying to my other comment about the logs: Try enabling logging as detailed on the PSU-Control github. (I enabled both 'psucontrol' and 'psucontrol-tplink' to "debug" level).

Internet goes down, printer pauses
Thanks for pointing me towards plugins. Didn't realize those would have the power to cause that kind of issue. Looks like it's probably my Home Assistant PSU Control plugin. Lots of error spam from it in my logs, and I found this issue: https://github.com/kantlivelong/OctoPrint-PSUControl/issues/262

Tradfri remote x-axis mount for automatic post print shutdown - Ender 3v2
Same. I use a TP-Link KP303 strip with the PSU Control plugin on OctoPrint. It cuts power 10m after the hotend and bed cool to 50c.

Do you shut down your prusa after your done using it or do you keep it on?
A few days before going the Home Assistant route I had installed the PSU Control plugin to be able to turn it off/on. It worked, but I thought it would be easier if I managed it with Home Assistant as it gave me many more options for including several conditional checks. Not to mention if I wanted to adjust the logic it was much quicker/easier to edit Home Assistant automations than to have to edit the plugin settings each time and hope I didn't screw it up.

Boot time for octopi on a 4B?
Also, if you're willing to play with some wire cutters you can use a plugin for OctoPrint to turn on/off your 3D printer directly from the OctoPrint web interface. (Although if you go with the docker container you'll need to pass through GPIO control for this to work by mounting /dev/gpiochip0).

Wake up this morning and see this on my 3D printer (I use octoprint and now I’m scared)
EDIT: this plugin https://plugins.octoprint.org/plugins/tplinksmartplug/ based on the more generic power control plugin https://github.com/kantlivelong/OctoPrint-PSUControl

Need help with setting up psu control
Really need more info about your configuration. With the exception of catching M80/M81(configurable) PSU Control doesn't modify outgoing GCode. Logs also help. https://github.com/kantlivelong/OctoPrint-PSUControl/wiki/Troubleshooting#how-to-provide-logs
OctoPrint-TPLinkSmartplug

Octopi - Strip away 5v from USB. Prevent power going to your printer from your octoprint server.
I have a tplink socket on my printer so im using the TP-Link Smartplug plugin and iv got it configured with as:
- Smart plug auto-shutoff plugin WITH DELAY?

So much for TP link - anyone recommend a smart plug that works?
My TP Link HS103 stopped working with Octoprint likely as a result of the recent firmware update. And what's weird is that there is a workaround to get the HS103 working again with the TPLinkSmartPlug plugin, which I followed. Octoprint started controlling the smart plug again - yay! But it stopped working again after a while. Boo. :(

Quality of Life
I use this one: https://github.com/jneilliii/OctoPrint-TPLinkSmartplug It should be available from your octorpint dashboard, that's how I downloaded it a year ago. Best upgrade ever, I can leave prints overnight and when they're done the printer and a light connected to it turn off automatically after cooldown.

Tplink auto turn off
Follow the setup instructions on the main plugin page for inputting your plug's IP address. Make sure "Enable GCode Trigger", "Auto Connect", and "Auto Disconnect" are checked on.
