Out of all the fuel tank dropping designs I could've used, this is probably the least practicle.
Definitely. It's one of the reasons I've been following the OutpostHD project. I'd love to see the game in a complete form someday, even if it turns out to be mostly nostalgia.

OpenHD - Outpost
- Please, I need help. I'm trying to find a pretty old space colonization game. You could basically explore different planets and do science research. I specifically remember being able to colonize deep underground with science labs. The buildings were very dome themed.

Gothic 2 coming to Switch?
Well the screenshot shows G2 and OG works good enough for G2 for such a image. And OG already runs at least on M1 so using it as a good base for a remake or console port might be an valid option.

what do you guys think about a Gothic 2 remake in the Skyrim engine, with Creation Club?
What for? Better improve an existing project, like https://github.com/Try/OpenGothic

When the game came out, my PC wasn't good enough to maximize visibility to notice this. It makes me smile that you can see the tower of Xardas well from Khorinis.
Kinda exists. There is OpenGothic. "The goal of this project is to make a feature complete Gothic game client compatible with the game and mods." There is also a team of russians who released an early build for Android (video), download is still up :)

Gothic 2 engine
Was looking at source implementations of old game engines and came across https://github.com/Try/OpenGothic . Was surprised to find it is implementing Ray Tracing on Metal https://github.com/Try/OpenGothic/issues/261 . This has to be a first.
